What's Going On With AATS
Youth Tennis Instruction (Ages 7 – 13 Years) – Code #2884

AATS will teach six weeks of Youth Tennis for the Annapolis Recreation and Parks Department (ARPD) at Truxtun Park starting on Wednesday, September 18, from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. This class will introduce new players to the game of tennis by building skills through innovative lessons, fun practice, and games. The fee covers instruction, courts, and balls. Players should bring their own racquets and water.

Adult Neighborhood Tennis

AATS will offer four weeks of Adult Neighborhood Tennis in August at Severna Park High School on Sundays and Annapolis High School on Tuesdays.
Sundays (8/4 – 8/25): From 5:30 – 7:00 PM at Severna Park High School, 60 Robinson Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146. Cost $85
Tuesdays (8/6 - 8/27): From 6:30 – 8:00 PM at Annapolis High School, 2700 Riva Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401. Cost $85
Pop-Up Tennis

May is National Tennis Month. Come to the Pop-Up Tennis Day on Saturday, May 18 from 4: - 5:30 pm at Truxtun Park, 1299 Primrose Rd., Annapolis. All ages are welcome: Ages 4 - 12, Teens, Adults, and Parents! AATS will offer free activities for 10-and-Under children. Don’t worry about a racket. We have loaners.
Instructor Workshop
March 16, 2024
The Annapolis Area Tennis School (AATS) will host a workshop for children’s instructors at Bowie Sport Fit on March 16 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. This interactive clinic is for 10-and-Under Tennis. The clinic will show how to make learning fun, to teach sound fundamentals, to organize classes and to deal with groups with mixed ability.

AATS Spring and Summer Programs 2024
February 5, 2024
AATS will offer a full range of tennis instruction for children and adults this year. The Spring Session starts on April 1, and the Summer Session starts on June 1. Children’s summer camps will be during the week of July 22, 2024. For information, review the AATS Program pages or look for the County’s Spring/Summer Recreation Guide and Summer Camp Guide.
